About JGAC Classes

The Class is full for Term1, 2022.

The classes involve students looking at and appreciating some of the great works of art of the past and present, depending on the topic for that term. Students will cover some of the basic principles in art and will experience a wide range of practical activities by exploring different art media and techniques in order to gain both confidence and enjoyment in their work.

Junior Classes (Years 1 to 6 / 7) are held on Mondays from 4.00pm to 5.30pm during NSW Term Times. Classes normally run for 7 to 9 weeks.

Senior Classes will also be held on Mondays from 4.00pm to 5.30pm during NSW Term Times. Seniors work is aimed at more advanced students. Classes normally run for 7 to 9 weeks.

All materials are supplied.

The Junior students create a number of different works during the Term using various art styles and mediums with the aim of exposing them to a wide variety of techniques.

The Senior students usually create one major art work during the Term, developing and refining different skills and techniques as they follow a theme for their work .

JGAC - Face to Face in Class for T1, 2022

After discussions with Albury Public School, permission to run classes face to face has been given.

As part of this, students will be required to wear masks which will be provided.
They will also be required to sanitise their hands on entry.
Students may be dropped off at the Annex where classes are held, and to pick them up there after class.
Parents / Carers may not enter the class room.
Please scan in and out at the gate on entry and pick-up.
