Introducing the Artist - Helen

Helen is a local artist and well known in Albury for her Junior Gallery Art classes that have been running for over 20 years.

Starting in the world of fabric and design in the UK, Helen’s passion is now creative photography and she shares this passion with the Wodonga Albury Camera Club. Digital technology provides opportunities beyond traditional medium to explore colours and textures and blend styles to create new ways of looking at the world. Helen describes herself as a artist working in the medium of manipulated digital photography.

Helen’s work has been displayed in many national and international photographic exhibitions. She has won multiple awards at these exhibitions most recently at Pakenham National, Redland National, Sutherland National, Warragul National and Sydney Harbour International. She has her work selected for promotion purposes. Helen regularly collaborates with other local artists to exhibit at various venues and galleries.
