Covid -19 Protocols will need to be adhered to:
All students to wear masks (supplied)
All students to sanitise hands on entering .
Parents of enrolled students will be advised of these before the classes commence.

JUNIOR CLASSES TERM 1 OUTLINE 2022
We will cover some of the basic principles in art which will enable the students to experience a wide range of practical.
David Hockney Style Flowers: After looking at flower paintings by the modern contemporary artist David Hockney the students will design their own composition. Then using various techniques including drawing/collage/oil pastels they will produce a bold colourful still life.
Caricatures: Firstly, the students will be taught the difference between a cartoon and a caricature. Then using a caricature of their own choice as a starting point they will draw a caricature and use water colours to add depth and interest.
Clowns: After looking at various images of clowns the students can decide whether they want to design a happy or scary clown. Then they can create their own clown face. Colour and pattern will be added using paint/pastels and collage.
All materials required by students will be supplied.
STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PRODUCE A SELECTION OF WORKS INCLUDING A MODERN FLOWER STILL LIFE/WATERCOLOUR, CARICATURES & CLOWN DESIGNS
